Redcliff DriveEXTENSION & LOFT CONVERSION
This Design and Build project included a ground floor extension with kitchen design and installation, a loft conversion with dormer and ensuite, alterations to the first floor and the design and installation of a bathroom and under stair cloakroom.
The extension achieved a large open space for a kitchen diner. In order to maximise on light we designed a floor to ceiling window at the end of the side addition of the extension. This made for a really contemporary, unique design feature adding a touch of style.
In the loft conversion, the ensuite was very limited on space. We designed the ensuite to accommodate for this by producing a bespoke, frameless shower enclosure and fitting a wall hung toilet and sink to give the illusion of more space.
Westcliff Park Drive LOFT CONVERSION
This was a Design and Build project for a loft conversion. We were able to work with the clients to incorporate their design ideas with some of our own. To give a sense of space we erected a curved wall between the bedroom and ensuite, fitting a curved shower tray and mosaic tiling. This made for a really unique design feature.
The clients were keen to keep the existing gable window. We incorporated this into the design creating an alcove the really maximised on the overall space of the room.
The clients also liked the idea of using glass bricks. Using these in the partition between the ensuite and bedroom introduced more natural light into the room.
Ditton Court Road LOFT CONVERSION
When the clients contacted us, they had already commissioned an architect to design their loft conversion. Therefore they were purely approaching us for the build stage of their project.
However; they had been disappointed with one crucial aspect of the architects design. Their design had meant that to make way for the new staircase, the existing spare room would need to be removed.
We were confident that this was not necessary and would defeat the point of creating more space by having a loft conversion. With our design expertise we were able to modify the staircase design to fit within the existing stairwell.
Queens Road RENOVATION
This was a major renovation of a Terraced house in Leigh-on-Sea. We converted the whole ground floor into an open plan living space, installing a new kitchen and extending out to the side boundary. We also converted the loft to add an addition room. Alterations were also carried out on the first floor creating an ensuite for the master bedroom. The property, previously bought for £225,000, sold for £350,000.
